Hear about the life forms we encounter including things that float (mostly seaweeds and crab shells), birds (herons, gulls, kingfishers, etc.), diamond Back terrapins (turtles), and possibly mussels swept along on a bladder seaweed. No restroom facilities. Park in the lot across from the Three Village Inn. Address: 51 Shore Rd., Stony Brook. Personal floatation must be worn. Bring a beverage and sun protection.
