We will be hiking the "lesser known" side trails in this, my favorite park.  Who knows, maybe we'll find a new one!   Rain cancels.   Bring water, bug spray and snack. Meet in the parking area by the booth. From NY 25 go north on Woodbury Rd., which becomes West Neck Rd. after crossing 25A in Huntington. Proceed about 6 miles, entrance to park is on the left. From the east take NY 110 north to 25A in Huntington, turn left, proceed through Huntington to West Neck Rd., turn right and go 6 miles to entrance on left.  Parking fee, or free with Empire Passport.
