Let's have a wonderful weekend hike in this interesting nature preserve.  There are observation areas to check out the birds & other wildlife, well maintained wide trails and a wonderful Visitor's Center with restrooms and a Gift Shop.  Take the LIE (495) to exit 68 (William Floyd)  south to Montauk Highway (80).  Go West (right) to Smith St.  Make a left and Wertheim is on the right. about 1/2 mile or so.
