We will explore various trails on the east side of the park. Including the nature, the rocky trails. The hilly trail takes us to Long Island's highest point, (at an elevation of 400 feet). Wind through this highly popular, mixed-deciduous forested park. Rain  cancels. Bring water and lunch; we will take a lunch break after hike; meet in parking lot. Directions: To BIG DOG RUN. Take LIE exit 49 north to Route 110 north, turn left onto Old Country Road. Turn right onto Sweet Hollow road. Big Dog Run parking is about .5 mile look for a Well Marked Sign on right.
