Let's go hiking across the fields and into the woods of this magnificent park.  If terrain is snowy or icy we will stick to the plowed paved paths, but at least we can get in some miles and fresh air.  From NY 25 go north on Woodbury Rd. which becomes West Neck Rd. after crossing 25A in Huntington.  Continue north approx. 6 miles to park entrance on left.  From east take NY110 north to 25A (Main St.) in Huntington, turn left onto 25A then go right onto West Neck Rd. continuing north for 6 miles to park entrance on left.  Bring water & snack.  Rain/snow/ice  cancels, cold weather does not .
