This hike will take the Blue Trail along the west side of the park to the location of the washed out dam of Stump Pond and then continue on the L.I. Greenbelt Trail into the southern portion of Caleb Smith State Park. Bring water; inclement weather cancels; meet at south entrance of Blydenburgh County Park, opposite Suffolk County offices along Veterans Memorial Highway (SR 454), park in the lot to the immediate right as you pass the entrance booth (no fee).
