We will hike up the west side of the park past the backyards of the neighboring houses, checking out the horses in the paddocks.  Then we will head to Bunce's Bridge and come back along the river's edge and pick up the Red Trail.  Perhaps go to lunch at Bayard Cutting Arboretum afterwards.  Meet in main parking lot; north side of NY 27.  .      .   From west take NY 27 to exit 47A (Oakdale/Bohemia Rd.). follow signs for U turn back onto NY 27 going west to park entrance on right.  From East take NY 27 west to park entrance on right.  . Bring water & snack.  Rain, snow or icy conditions cancels.  Cold weather does not.
