A hike through Wildwood State Park on the north shore of Suffolk County in Wading River. The hike will include the interior of the park and a stop along the bluff of Long Island Sound with an optional walk to the beach at the end. Bring water, insect/tick protection; meet in main parking lot (Field 1- as you enter lot, go left a short distance); rain cancels. From L.I. Expressway take Exit 68 North 7.3 miles to Route 25A, go right onto 25A east for 2.9 miles, left onto Sound Avenue for 1.1 miles, left onto Hulse Landing Road for .9 miles, right onto Wildwood Road and the entrance to the park (790 Hulse Landing Road, Wading River, N.Y. 11792).
