We will be hiking both trails in this wonderful preserve with a break in the middle. If you only want to do a short hike we will pass the parking lot after 3 miles. There are great water views and a place for a picnic lunch after. Also, a very nice gift shop & restrooms. Take LIE to Exit 65 (William Floyd Pky) Head South to NY 80 (Montauk Hwy) Go right (West) to Smith St. Turn left onto Smith St. and Wertheim will be on the right shortly after crossing tracks. Meet in the parking lot. Rain cancels.
