Quogue Wildlife Refuge is a 305-acre non-profit nature preserve with ponds and diverse wildlife that was founded in 1934. No fee. From NY 27, take Exit 64S, head south on C.R. 104 2 miles, and turn right onto Old Country Road. Go 0.7 mile to entrance on the right side. (Park in dirt area on left of road.) From L.I.E. Exit 70, go right onto C.R. 111 and continue to NY 27; go east to Exit 64 and continue as above. Rain cancels.
