This 263-acre site borders the estuary where the Terrell River meets Moriches Bay, creating a nursery for game fish and crustaceans.  We will follow a loop path along the river and to the bay and back. We may spot some birds and other wildlife. We’ll reach a narrow sandy beach with fine views. From L.I.E. Exit 68 or NY 27 Exit 58S, take William Floyd Parkway south to Montauk Hwy. (C.R. 80); turn left, and keep right to stay on Montauk Hwy for 5 miles to Terrell River Park; small unpaved parking lot on right. Meet in parking area. If no parking spots, park across the street at Kalers Pond Park. Restrooms may or may not be open. Bring water. Rain cancels.
