Let's go hiking across the fields and into the woods of this magnificent park. If terrain is snowy or icy, we will stick to the plowed paved paths, but at least we can get in some miles and fresh air. From NY 25 go north on Woodbury Rd., which becomes West Neck Rd. after crossing NY 25A. Continue approx. 6 miles to park entrance on left. From the east take NY 110 north to 25A in Huntington (Main St.). Go left on 25A to West Neck Rd.-go right and follow it to park. Bring water and snack. Rain, snow or ice cancels, cold weather does not.
